11/18 Maps on Monday on Wednesday

Today in class you will 

• finish showing you have basic map skills.

Why?

• In order to drive your own learning.
• To develop your skills with geographic tools that you will use to analyze the world.

1.  (25 min) Follow the assignment directions for Maps on Monday (I know its not Monday.) in Google Classroom. 

• Since many have struggled with interpreting maps, there is a new Doc attached to help make that third standard easier to attain.  
• Turn in the work when done.

2.  (10 min) Accurately draw and label the continents and oceans (you may refer to an atlas/book), including the following.

• Equator
• Prime Meridian
• North America
• South America
• Europe
• Africa
• Asia
• Australia
• Antarctica
• Atlantic Ocean
• Arctic Ocean
• Pacific Ocean
• Indian Ocean
