    As soon as students finish up with concepts about trade, they will venture into South America.  The different types of climate will be reviewed.  They will explore different land use conflict in the Amazon and how people adapt to living in the Andes mountains.

    Maps are back.  Students are currently developing their mental maps of  Europe.  They will then follow up with maps of Asia.

    Students have added to their blogs.  They have a vocabulary story for English and will be adding one for social studies about trade.  Make sure you check out the students' blogs. (Mr. d'Entremont has created his own blog to serve as a model for students.)
