    1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).   1 minute

    2.  E Period: Class share - word sort          7 minutes
    • open your word sort doc and be ready to share
    3.  Use your search skills to find out about sustainable development. Work on being able to have a full definition that has depth. Not just a definition you have found with words you don't understand.           7 minutes

    4. Class share           7 minutes

    5. Make a copy of the Frayer model linked here. Use the folder icon next to the doc title to move it to your social studies folder.  We will work with this together.          10 minutes

    6.  Use the following steps of Rules for Producing Questions about the topic sustainable development, and put your questions into the Padlet linked in Google Classroom:           5 minutes
    • Ask/write as many questions as you can
    • Do not stop to discuss, judge, or answer any questions - don't ask whether or not it is a good enough question
    • Write down every question exactly as it is stated - don't worry about wording
    • Change any statement into a question

      • Votes are anonymous to protect citizens from being intimidated, harmed, or excluded.
      • Citizens are not obligated to share how they vote with anyone and should not feel pressured to do so.
