  • To develop your understanding of the connection between physical and human geography.

DIRECTIONS

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2.  In your scrap paper document, use the main ideas and some details from your notes to write a summary of the chapter.  It should be no longer than 3/4 of a page.        15 minutes

3.  By yourself, complete the work linked here.        15 minutes

4.  Use this form to generate questions about adapting to the Andes.  Make as many questions as you can.

  • on the right, put bulleted notes for each section - no sentences -  focus on physical characteristics and human adaptations.
  • on the left, identify topics for each section - line up with the details on the right.
  • on the left, identify main ideas for each topic of each section.
