- read and take notes about the physical and human geography of the Andes Mountains.
- To deepen your understanding of human geography.
- To deepen your understanding of physical geography.
- To develop your understanding of the connection between physical and human geography.
DIRECTIONS
1. Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above). 1 minute
2. A & B will finish this; C & D will complete this. Read and take bulleted notes for each section of chapter 13 in Geography Alive pages 191 - 199. 35 minutes
- use the note template
- on the right, put bulleted notes for each section - no sentences - focus on physical characteristics and human adaptations.
- on the left, identify topics for each section - line up with the details on the right.
- on the left, identify main ideas for each topic of each section.
3. In your scrap paper document, write a summary of the chapter. It should be no longer than 3/4 of a page. 20 minutes
6. By yourself, complete the work linked here.
