Today in class you will
- notice patterns in the questions the class generated by categorizing them.
- begin to explore regions of the world with your questions.
Why?
- In order to drive your own learning.
- To develop your geographic understanding and mental map of the world so you can better relate to and make connections to people around the world.
1. Take out your questions about regions.
2. Continue to categorize your questions from last class.
3. Sharing
4. Prioritize: Which questions are the most important ones to answer? Choose at least 12 and mark them by underlining them on your categorization doc.
5. In your categorization doc, go to ADD-ONS, then get Add-Ons. Search for Easy Bib, and add it - it is orange. You will use this to cite ALL of your sources.
6. You will be randomly assigned a region. Begin to investigate the region using your questions as a focus. Create two columns at the top of the categorization doc - questions will go in the left column; notes will go in the right column. (Put only one question in each row.
