3. Look at your blog. If there are comments on your blog, check to see if they are academic comments, If not, make note of it for me. 5 minutes
4. Respond to any academic comments on your blog with academic comments of your own. 10 minutes
5. Look through all others' blogs. Assess whether or not comments are academic comments. If not, make note of them for me. 30 minutes
6. Tell Mr.d'E what a digital footprint is and what a positive digital footprint is.

2. If you haven’t presented to me yet, take out your claim graphic organizer and evidence. 2 minutes
3. By yourself and without any resources, complete the form linked here. 10 minutes
4. Finish the graphic organizer you were working on for constructing a comment. Have another check it to make sure it is an academic comment as opposed to a social comment.
Otherwise, make a copy of the document linked here and move it to your social studies folder using the folder icon next to the title and construct another comment for another blog. Have another check it to make sure it is an academic comment as opposed to a social comment.
Make academic comments on at least three blogs. 30 minutes
4. In the Google Classroom About section, work on the Extension activity News 5 Themes. ( If you had already started the other extension activity, you can finish that first. ) 20 minutes
5. Identify at least four main ideas from the article. From the main ideas write a summary of the article, referring to the criteria linked here.

This blog gives students a starting point and overview of what we will do in class. It also allows parents a glimpse into my classroom so they have a sense of what their children are doing in class on a day-to-day basis. It is my hope that parents will gain greater insight and the information will inspire greater conversation about class at home.
NOTE: Links to Google Classroom, Google Docs, or other Google Apps for Education will require students to log in to their school account.
NOTE: Due to the drop period in our schedule, there are times that your student might be working on a previous day's agenda. That will be noted at the top of the post.
