C periods - FOLLOW DIRECTIONS FROM 9/6
Today in class you will 
  • explore programming with Scratch

Why?
  • To develop your critical thinking.
  • To become more exposed to programming.

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).   1 minute

2.  Go to Google Classroom and follow the directions in the announcement at the top of the stream.  Ask for help when you need it.           45 minutes

3. Wait for whole class sharing.          10 minutes

9/6 Mental Map; Geography

C periods - FINISH DIRECTIONS FROM 9/5
Today in class you will 
  • share your mental map of the world.
  • demonstrate your current understanding of geography
Why?
  • To let Mr.d'E know where you knowledge base is at.

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).   1 minute

2.  Try to complete Place Spotting while you wait.           5 minutes

3. Mental map of the world.            30 minutes

4. By yourself - brainstorm: What topics are related to geography? Complete the form linked here.  You will send multiple forms, each with a separate topic. Put a topic in "quotation marks" if it is more than one word.,              8 minutes

7. Wait for whole class sharing.          10 minutes
