DIRECTIONS
If you are ever waiting for a direction, please use PlaceSpotting or Google A Day. (Don't search for the question or use a Google A Day answer site.)
1. Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above). 1 minute
3. Complete the last slide. 10 minutes
4. In your social studies Classroom Drive folder, create a new document, name it SCRAP PAPER, put today's date, and brainstorm - for 5 minutes - a list of as many items as you can that are about geography. Put an asterisk (*) next to the item you think is the most important. TIME YOURSELF 5 minutes
5. Search for and find at least five different definitions of geography. On the scrap paper write you're own definition (your own words) using the sentence starter, "Geography is..." 10 minutes
6. In Google Classroom respond to the question that is posted. 10 minutes
7. Wait for a whole class discussion. (See purple highlighted direction above.) 5 minutes
