  • Get to know your classmates better.

  • To recognize and appreciate one another's strengths and differences.

DIRECTIONS

If you are ever waiting for a direction, please use PlaceSpotting or Google A Day. (Don't search for the question or use a Google A Day answer site.)
1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute
2.  Go to Google Classroom and complete the assignment posted from yesterday.          70 minutes

3.  Share.          20 minutes

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute
2.  Go to Google Classroom and follow the directions on slide 8.          15 minutes

3.  Complete the last slide.          10 minutes

4. In your social studies Classroom folder, create a new document, name it SCRAP PAPER, put today's date, and brainstorm - for 5 minutes - a list of as many items as you can that are about geography. TIME YOURSELF          5 minutes

5. Search for and find at least five different definitions of geography.  On the scrap paper write you're own definition (your own words) using the sentence starter, "Geography is..."          10 minutes

6. Wait for a whole class discussion. (See purple highlighted direction above.)          10 minutes
