10/9 Presenting Information / Map Skills

Whenever you need help, please ask for it.
Please write your homework in your assignment book.
Please review the goal and agenda for the day which is posted in the classroom.

Today in class you will
  • create a presentation about a region of the world based on your questions.
  • determine how you will show you have basic map skills.
Why?
  • In order to drive your own learning.
  • To develop your geographic understanding and mental map of the world so you  can better relate to and make connections to people around the world.
  • To develop your skills with geographic tools that you will use to analyze the world.

1.  Follow the assignment directions for the slideshow in Google Classroom.

2.  When done, make sure you
  • review the directions in G-Classroom,
  • review the rubric,
  • have images/themes/backgrounds that are appropriate for the topic,
  • turn in the work in G-Classroom.

Google Classroom (Yes, I know it's not Monday.).
