1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2. Discuss your book with your group.  Focus on the guiding questions, ask other questions, and share your opinions.        10 MINUTES

3. By yourself, follow the directions in Google Classroom to summarize your book using Somebody-Wanted-But-So-Then as the foundation.              80 MINUTES

  • summarize --> draft --> feedback --> revise
  • create the character --> color/draw --> photo --> edit
  • submit/turn in
