9/18 Revision and Questioning

Whenever you need help, please ask for it.
Please write your homework in your assignment book.
Please review the goal and agenda for the day which is posted in the classroom.

Today in class you will

  • revise their reflection on how you could motivate yourself to make your mark in the world.
  • begin to understand how to create questions for guiding your learning.

1.  In Google Classroom, review your "bothered" reflection.  Revise to improve it based on the comments Mr.d'E has given.
2.  Brainstorm: List at least five reasons why questions are important.
3. The Rules for Producing Questions (from http://rightquestion.org/)
  • Ask as many questions as you can
  • Do not stop to discuss, judge, or answer any questions
  • Write down every question exactly as it is stated
  • Change any statement into a question
4. Think about any region of the world.  Follow the Rules for Producing Questions to write questions on the following:  What questions can you ask which would help you figure out how to describe the place to other people?
5. When done with the previous directions, speak to Mr.d'E.
