NOTE: Links to Google Classroom, Google Docs, or other Google Apps for Education will require students to log in to their school account.

NOTE: Due to the drop period in our schedule, there are times that your student might be working on a previous day's agenda. That will be noted at the top of the post.

9/8 Reflection

Whenever you need help, please ask for it.
Please write your homework in your assignment book.
Please review the goal and agenda for the day posted in the classroom.

Today in class you will reflect on the slide show project you completed last class or finished today.  You will also explore what it takes to be successful.

1. Finish working on the selfie slide show project as explained in Google Classroom.
2. In Google Classroom, reflect on your slide show project by considering the following:
  • Why was this project meaningful to you? To us?
  • What new skills did you use?
  • Did you do an effective job of communicating with others? How do you know that?
  • What was fun? What did you enjoy?

3. Discuss your responses with at least two other people.

4. Consider what it takes to be successful and what it takes to make a difference in the world. See Mr.d'E for directions.
5. After your work has been completed, respond to the following prompt in Google Classroom:
  • What Chromebook, Google Docs, or general computer shortcut or trick do you know? (Example 1: In Docs, go to Tools - Voice Typing, and you can dictate what you want typed. Example 2: On the Chromebook, use CTRL & magnifying glass to turn on/off caps lock.)
