12/21-22 Standard of Living: Support the Claim

Whenever you need help, please ask for it.
Please write your homework in your assignment book.
Please review the goal and agenda for the day which is posted in the classroom.

Today in class you will 
  • explain economic indicators to evaluate a country's standard of living.
Why?
  • To develop your understanding of basic economic concepts.
  • To determine different countries' standard of living.
  • To better relate to the world around us.
  • To improve your writing and thinking.

1. 5 minutes In Google Classroom, follow the directions for Standard of Living: Support the Claim to complete the first part.

2.  10 minutes Check an example together.

3.  10 minutes Independent practice.

4.  5 minutes  Pair discussions

Parents
You could ask your child the following: 
  • What is standard of living?
  • How do you analyze a country's standard of living?
