1. Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above). 1 minute
2. With someone at your table, refer to your notes and use them to give an oral response to the prompt. You should not be reading. Practice another time to get more comfortable. 8 minutes
3. Go to Google Classroom and follow directions in the announcement. 2 minutes
4. Add your response. 5 minutes
5. Organize Google Drive. 10 minutes
- In your Classroom folder, make sure you have a folder for last year with all of last year's work in it.
- Make a folder called 2016-2017.
- Drag all of your Google Classroom folders for each class into this new folder.
- Click Search at the top of Drive. Choose More Search Tools.
- For Date Modified choose custom. Make the dates from July 1, 2016 to June 20, 2017.
- Move any documents found into your new folder.
- Make a folder for next year named 2017-2018.
6. Open your genocide slide show. Choose - File Publish to web - Embed - choose small. Use the code to post the slide show on your blog. Write an introduction to your slide show at the start of the post. 10 minutes
7. Look at others' responses on the grid and then at their slide shows on their blogs. 10 minutes
