  • Practice determining evidence and reasoning / explanation to support a viewpoint.
  • Develop broader understanding of the UN SDG.

  • To better understand human and physical geography.
  • To improve your writing.
  • To develop critical thinking.

DIRECTIONS

If you are ever waiting for a direction, please use PlaceSpotting by students, PlaceSpotting , Google A Day, or this Google Maps Scavenger Hunt or create a meme for one of our social studies topics from the year. (Don't search for the question or use a Google A Day answer site.)
1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute
2. Use your research and find data and quotes to work with the UN SDG Socratic Seminar Preparation found in Google Classroom.                  20 minutes

3. Practice a piece of your Socratic seminar prep with a partner.                  7 minutes

4. Repeat # 2 & #3.                 25 minutes

5.  your seminar is Tuesday.
