NOTE: Links to Google Classroom, Google Docs, or other Google Apps for Education will require students to log in to their school account.

NOTE: Due to the drop period in our schedule, there are times that your student might be working on a previous day's agenda. That will be noted at the top of the post.

DIRECTIONS

If you are ever waiting for a direction, please use PlaceSpotting by students, PlaceSpotting , Google A Day, or this Google Maps Scavenger Hunt or create a meme for one of our social studies topics from the year. (Don't search for the question or use a Google A Day answer site.)
1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute
2.  Create a different scene to show about each of the different factors of standard of living: wealth, health, education, infrastructure.  35 minutes
     > One scenes should address EACH factor.
     > Discuss as you create.

3.  Using the Chromebook, one person in the group take separate pictures of each scene.   5 minutes
     > Share each with the group members with permission to VIEW.
     > The other group members will need to make copies of each picture.

4. Annotate your pictures.  30 minutes
     > In your social studies folder, create a Google Slide.
     > Individually and for each picture, insert the photo into a separate slide.
     > Explain what each scene shows by using text boxes and lines/arrows to point out where in the photo the words refer to.
