DIRECTIONS    If you are waiting at any point, work on any known sidequests.

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2.   A  PERIODS   Look at your Indus Valley Geography slides.  In your scrap paper doc, write 3-5 important points (big ideas; main ideas) the information makes about the Indus Valley civilizations.         10 MINUTES

3.   A  PERIODS   Wait for whole class share         10 MINUTES

4.   A  PERIODS   Whole class discussion:  summary writing        25 MINUTES
        What is a topic?
        What is a main idea?
        What is a detail?
        What is a summary?

5. Wait for Mr. d'E    Evaluate and revise a summary         15 MINUTES

6.  Wait for whole class share         10 MINUTES

7.  Write a summary independently -  see under South Asia in Google Classroom
