10/20 South Asia Geography & Summary

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2.   Independent practice         30 MINUTES
  • Look at your (and my) Indus Valley Geography information (graphic organizers in Google Classroom - flow chart and map). Prioritize big ideas.  
  • Which details are essential and help it flow?
  • Write one summary paragraph independently -  see under Indus Valley Summary under South Asia in Google Classroom
3.  Refer to your graphic organizers, create as many questions as you can by reusing the form linked here.

2.   Look at the timeline posted in the room.  Identify the Indus Valley civilizations that start around 3000 BCE and end around 300 BCE.  What other civilization existed during its time?

3.  In Google Classroom, view the Ancient Indian Subcontinent Overview Graphic Organizer.  What could you share about each of the topics listed on the left?

4.  Refer to your Indus Valley Geography graphic organizers, create as many questions (with answers ) as you can by reusing the form linked here.        20 minutes
