  •  write a summary show understanding of the main ideas and important details about Ancient Aborigines

DIRECTIONS    If you are waiting at any point, work with the Waiting Activities listed in the right-hand column of this page.

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2.  Chat with someone next to you about the differences between topics, main ideas, and details.  Discuss which a summary focuses on.                     5 minutes

3.   Wait for whole class discussion                         10 minutes

4.   Write a summarize the information you have about the Ancient Aborigine in one paragraph.                       20 minutes
