- begin to understand how climate, physical features, and natural resources influence settlement and economics.
- To notice patterns in the world.
- To better understand why cities developed where they are.

1. If you did not on Friday, make a copy of the document linked here.
2. With your group, 15 minutes
Double check if you had finished - otherwise, continue to define important vocabulary using the table on the second page --- These would be terms you don't know or ones you've heard of but could not describe/explain to others. As a result, members of the group could have different words. HELP EACH OTHER OUT and DO NOT be hesitant to say you don't know something.
3. With your group, determine and write a main idea for each section: physical features, climate, natural resources 8 minutes
4. Check in with Mr.d'E to make sure you are understanding. 3 minutes
5. Sketchnote: By your self draw and color a sketchnote that gets across the main points/ideas - with specific examples and vocabulary - about physical features, climate, and natural resources. 30 minutes

- What is the impact of climate physical features and natural resources on where cities/population centers have developed?
- What are different climate types and what are they like?
