  • write about a country's standard of living.

Why?

  • To develop your critical thinking.
  • To improve your writing skills.

2.  On your data sheet, circle the data used to analyze health, put a dollar sign next to those for wealth, and put a star next to those for education.             5 minutes

3.   Answer, without explanation:               8 minutes
  • What level of wealth would each country have?
  • What level of health would each country have?
  • What level of education would each country have?
  • For these, reasons what is each country's overall standard of living?

4. For one of the factors above for one country, what is your evidence? Explain how that evidence shows your reason to be true.             5 minutes

Parents: Instead of Asking Your Child,
"What Did You Do in School Today?"
Ask them.......
  • What are the three key things you need in a paragraph to help you explain clearly?
  • What did you initially struggle with in explaining about standard of living?  How did you improve?
