1. Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above). 1 minute
3. Complete the exit ticket when instructed. 5 minutes
4. When finished "breaking out," by yourself, create a sketchnote that gets across the main ideas about natural resources, needs and wants, economic activity, and economic systems. Use specific examples and content vocabulary. (Overview / how to video: https://youtu.be/gY9KdRfNN9w; example pictured below)
- Keep in mind organization, images, and color.
- Balance images with words to clearly get across the main points.
- Remember to fill your page.
