3/27 Synthesizing Information

Reminders
  • Whenever you need help, please ask for it.
  • Please write your homework in your assignment book.
  • Please review the goal and agenda for the day (posted in the classroom).


Today in class you will
  • Review information about the five themes of geography, basic economic concepts, and the UN SDG.
  • identify connections between the three topics.
Why?
  • To develop your analyzing skills
  • To develop your understanding of geography.


DIRECTIONS
If you are ever waiting for a direction, please use PlaceSpotting or Google A Day. (Don't search for the question or use a Google A Day answer site.)
1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute
2. Work with the graphic organizers that are the first item in G-Classroom        15 minutes

3. Whole class share        5 minutes

4.  Repeat #2 and #3.         30 minutes

"What Did You Do in School Today?"
Ask them.......
  • What connections did you see between the five themes of geography, basic economic concepts, and the Global Goals?
  • What were the hardest connections to make? Why were they difficult?
