If you are ever waiting for a direction, please use PlaceSpotting by students, PlaceSpotting , Google A Day, or this Google Maps Scavenger Hunt or create a meme for one of our social studies topics from the year. (Don't search for the question or use a Google A Day answer site.)
1. Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above). 1 minute
2. C & D Period. Acorn hunt - first team to gather all wins 30 minutes
3. Pairs --> main ideas. 15 minutes
4. (Wait for) whole class discussion. 15 minutes
5. Summarize land use conflict in the Amazon and some solutions. 15 minutes
