Why?

  • To deepen your understanding of human geography.
  • To develop empathy.

DIRECTIONS

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2.  In your discussion groups, wait for all group members, then discuss the guiding questions on which you took notes. EACH person should contribute to the discussion. Your discussion should last this entire time.           15 minutes

3.  Whole class discussion.        5 minutes

4.  Explore and discuss       15 minutes
