DIRECTIONS    If you are waiting at any point, work with the Waiting Activities listed in the right-hand column of this page.

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2.      Look at your responses to the form from last class (Look in GMail.).          7 minutes
  • Under RESOURCES in Google Classroom, open the spider rubrics.
  • On the first slide only, change Activity 1 to What do you know
  • For each of the three sections from the form, drag a yellow dot to the correct spot on rubric.
  • Connect the three yellow dots with a yellow line. 

3.    Whole class discussion: theme, "lesson," "message".          5 minutes

4.    Read aloud and discussion with your assigned group          15 minutes
