1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2.     Take out the work from yesterday.  We will finish reviewing it together.       10 minutes

3.  Wait for Mr.d'E    By yourself, jot important information (who, what, where, when, why - cause/effect) for one of the Ancient Indian empires.             20 minutes

4.  Comparison             7 minutes
