1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2.   Whole class.......Help Geo Beast!         7 minutes

3.    Finish your sketchnote of the Silk Road. Fill the page, include your content, and add color.  The focus is content, not intricate drawings.           25 minutes

4.    Whole class carousel.             15 minutes
