10/17 2 Column Note Taking

  • to become better readers and writers
  • to become more efficient in gathering information

DIRECTIONS    If you are waiting at any point, work with the Waiting Activities listed in Google Classroom, posted in the class, or in the right-hand column of this page.

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2.  If you did not finish the Learning Tracker, please see Mr.d'E during FLEX for help.

3.   Review the 2 column notes expectations in Google Clasroom.                            5 minutes

4.  Complete your independent 2 column note taking practice using the assigned section of the textbook                             15 minutes

Plan on 5 chunks--> one for each paragraph

6.  Wait for small group share                             20 minutes
