  • recognize what is needed for you to be successful in the different stages of class.
Why?
  • To develop your meta-cognition - thinking about your learning.
  • To develop your ability to manage your time.
  • To improve your executive functioning: problem solving, planning, and task completion during class.

1 Turn to someone at your group.  Gesture and mirror with that person the definition of economy:  Economy is the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. (If no one at your group is ready, turn to someone in a group next to your group.)

2.  Repeat #1 five times.

3. THINK: Have you ever been to the movies?  Picture yourself after having seen a movie.  Imagine what that looks like.  What evidence is there that you've been to a movie so that someone knows you have done it?

4.  Share with group members what you "saw" from above.

5.  Model - Get ready, do, done.

6.  Practice for class together.
