10/29 Economy and You

Whenever you need help, please ask for it.
Please write your homework in your assignment book.
Please review the goal and agenda for the day which is posted in the classroom.

Today in class you will 
  • show that you have a sense of what the economy is and how it relates to your life.
Why?
  • To develop your understanding of basic economic concepts.
  • To begin seeing connections between yourself and other parts of the world.
  • To describe how different economic systems try to answer the basic economic questions of what to produce, how to produce, and for whom to produce.

1.  Finish making revisions to your Economy & Me writing based on the feedback you already have (15 minutes).

2.  See Mr.d'E for your next step.

3.  Discuss:  Why is knowing about economy important?

4.  Discuss:  What is one thing you learned about your region that is connected to economy?
