2/22 Basic Economic Concepts - Review

Whenever you need help, please ask for it.
Please write your homework in your assignment book.
Please review the goal and agenda for the day in the class.

Why?
  • To better understand basic economic concepts.
  • To better understand the connections between basic economic  concepts.

1 With another near you, discuss - in your own words - why you are in social studies today (see above). 2 minutes

2. Take out all the different ways that you have been manipulating information on economic systems, standard of living, and trade/globalization.  Share what you have done with your group.  
3 minutes

3.  By yourself:  Write as many multiple choice questions as you can for each of the topics.  10 minutes

4.  As a group:  Choose your three best questions (accurate/correct, clear, and challenging) for each category. 5 minutes

5.  Choose an appropriate group name. One person from the group email Mr. d'E w your nine questions w/answers - indicate correct answers.  Put the group name as the email subject. 5 minutes

6. Review the three topics with your group. Make sure you also interact about how economic systems, standard of living, and trade/globalization are connected and intertwined. 5 minutes
