2/9 Globalization and Trade Sketchnote

Whenever you need help, please ask for it.
Please write your homework in your assignment book.
Please review the goal and agenda for the day in the class.

Why?

  • To understand how people of various countries are connected.

1 With another near you, discuss - in your own words - why you are in social studies today (see above). 2 minutes

2.  Take out your copy of the class notes from last class. Carefully and thoughtfully review what you remember, what you have questions about (this may change due to the missed days), and what you can visualize.  
7 minutes 

3.  Ask questions about the information you are not clear about.  7 minutes

4.  With your group: Brainstorm images and symbols that are appropriate for each topic. 3 minutes

5.  Create a sketchnote on globalization and trade.   25 minutes
  • Keep in mind organization, images, and color.  
  • Balance images with words to clearly get across the main points.
  • Remember to fill your page. 

Parents
You could ask your child the following: 
  • Why do countries trade?
  • What is globalization?
  • What are some advantages of globalization?
  • What are some disadvantages of globalization?
