  • To practice writing.

NOTE: Whenever you are waiting for Mr.d'E or others so you can complete a next step, appropriately comment on other students blogs: Give a compliment; respond to something specific (what did it make you think, do you agree/disagree - why), extend the conversation (add a relevant question; share what other ideas came to your mind as you read the post); do NOT critique their writing/thoughts. For the next several days in class you will be working on a an argument writing piece. You should easily be able to work at the pace I have set and meet the deadlines within the writing process.

2.  Go to Google Classroom. Complete #1 Amazon Argument Writing Graphic Organizer.   1 class period

3.  Go to Google Classroom. Complete #2 Amazon Argument Writing Draft to create a draft of argument writing that supports a claim. Refer to the top down organizer on the back board for the structure.    1 class period

If you are waiting for someone to complete the next step, work with your Amazon sketchnote.

4.  Go to Google Classroom. Complete #3 Amazon Argument Writing Peer Feedback w/ assigned partner  1/2 class period

5.  Go to Google Classroom. Complete #4 Amazon Argument Writing Revisions.   1 1/2 class periods
