1.  Make a copy of the document at this link. Move it into your social studies folder in the Drive Classroom folder.   5 minutes

2.  Answer the four questions in your document.      10 minutes

3.  Class discussion.     5 minutes

4. Google Search practice: What Google search can you do to find a natural resources map from a Canadian website?      7 minutes

5. Go to the map of Syria linked here. Answer the following at the top of your social studies scrap paper doc (date, then work)     15 minutes
  1. What is the map showing? 
  2. Which city is the capital of Syria.
  3. Identify one industry in Aleppo.
  4. Identify one mineral deposit in Aleppo.
6.  Class discussion.     5 minutes
