1. Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above). 1 minute
2. You started this last class on Friday: Complete the Election Reflection found in Google Classroom. If you started a graphic organizer, access it through your social studies folder in Drive. 20 minutes
3. Get feedback from Mr.d'E, and revise appropriately. 15 minutes
Using Google Search techniques you have learned (which doesn't include searching the question), complete the Google A Day challenge while you wait.
4. Create a blog post using your writing, not the prompt/directions. 5 minutes
- Include a title that hints at the main point of your writing.
- Include an image, which you have permission to use, that complements your writing. Use Creative Commons or PhotosforClass.
- Cite your source for the image. Use the EasyBib Add-on in your Doc.
- Copy & paste the following labels: social studies, election
5. Check out the campaign buttons at the front and back of the room. Check out a sample ballot for the upcoming election.
