NOTE: Links to Google Classroom, Google Docs, or other Google Apps for Education will require students to log in to their school account.

NOTE: Due to the drop period in our schedule, there are times that your student might be working on a previous day's agenda. That will be noted at the top of the post.

  • analyze the importance of identity.

Why?
  • To develop empathy.
  • To develop your critical thinking skills.

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).   1 minute

2.  By yourself and without any resources respond to the questions at this link.           7 minutes

3.  By yourself: Take the identity chart from the table near the cart and complete it.            10 minutes

4. Wait for whole class discussion.              10 minutes

5. Reflection: At the top of your scrap paper document, write a paragraph to explain how you felt, how your life would be different (based on the identity chart activity), and why identity is important.                10 minutes

6. See Mr.d'E:

Parents: Instead of Asking Your Child,
"What Did You Do in School Today?"
Ask them.......
  • Why is identity important?
  • Explain about the identity chart activity?
