1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).   1 minute

2.  Close your eyes and think about the factors we've discussed that impact human geography. What type of evidence would help to show about them? How would you explain about that evidence?             5 minutes

3.   Day 1/2:  You will be gathering information about the geography of the Aral Sea region and will be writing about how physical geography impacts human geography. Listen carefully to the oral directions, then read the directions. Analyze the questions, gather information, and then plan your response to the prompt.               55 minutes

4. Day 2: Write your draft to address the prompt, and then turn in your work.               30 minutes

5. Examine information about a water crisis at this link.  What are at least 5 main ideas you can determine based on the details from this page and those it directs you to.  Make a mini poster to persuade people how concerned they should be about water.
