Today in class you will Process information about basic economic concepts. Why? To strengthen your understanding of geography. To develop an understanding of how different places are connected. DIRECTIONS  If you are ever waiting for a direction, please use PlaceSpotting or Google A Day. (Don't search for the question or use a Google A Day answer site.) 1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute 2.  By yourself, create a sketchnote that gets across the main ideas about natural resources, needs and wants, economic activity, and economic systems.
