1. Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above). 1 minute
2. Put finishing touches on your sketchnote: By yourself, create a sketchnote that gets across the main ideas about natural resources, needs and wants, economic activity, and economic systems. Use specific examples and content vocabulary. (Overview / how to video: https://youtu.be/gY9KdRfNN9w; example pictured below) 15 minutes

3. Think about the five themes of geography. How can you think about economic concepts in terms of each of the five themes of geography? Write a list for each theme in your scrap paper doc. 10 minutes
