1. Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above). 1 minute
2. Make a copy of the document linked here. Move it to your social studies folder using the icon next to the document title. 2 minutes
3. Follow the directions on the document. 25 minutes
4. Whole class discussion. 10 minutes
5. Exit Ticket 5 minutes

1. Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above). 1 minute
2. By yourself, at the top of your scrap paper doc, put today’s date and evaluation each of the following: food, clothing, shelter, health care, education. Indicate if you have less than you need, have as much as you need, or have more than you need. 2 minutes
3. Continue working by yourself in your scrap paper doc by writing a list: What wants do you have fulfilled that you absolutely would not want to do without? 2 minutes
4. Wait for whole class sharing. 5 minutes
5. Make a copy of the Drawing at this link and move it to your social studies folder using the folder icon next to the title. Then, explore the information and respond. 25 minutes
5. Whole class discussion. 10 minutes
6. Exit Ticket 5 minutes
