DIRECTIONS

If you are ever waiting for a direction, please use PlaceSpotting by students, PlaceSpotting , Google A Day, or this Google Maps Scavenger Hunt or create a meme for one of our social studies topics from the year. (Don't search for the question or use a Google A Day answer site.)


1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute
2.   Listen to others summaries. Give feedback using the guidelines on the board.           15 minutes

3.  Record a video of yourself explaining a topic listed below.      OR    Create a Google Drawing with a picture of you with a speech bubble (where you'll type what you would say) layered on top of an image related to what you "speak" about.          25 minutes
  • Explain how it is good citizenship to take care of the environment. Include specific steps you can take to take care of the environment.
  • Explain how it is good citizenship to be inclusive of all sexual identities. Include specific actions you can take to be supportive.
  • Explain how it is good citizenship to be concerned about animal welfare. Include specific actions you can take to be supportive.
  • Explain how it is good citizenship to be concerned about women's rights. Include specific actions you can take to be make sure women's rights are protected.
