DIRECTIONS
If you are ever waiting for a direction, please use PlaceSpotting by students, PlaceSpotting , Google A Day, or this Google Maps Scavenger Hunt or create a meme for one of our social studies topics from the year. (Don't search for the question or use a Google A Day answer site.)
1. Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above). 1 minute
2. C & D Periods Brain dump - write everything you can about your chapter topic without any resources. 10 minutes
3. Topic groups: read the feedback aloud from the sticky notes - clarify ideas for one another 10 minutes
4. Read and ask questions about the project directions. 10 minutes
5. Follow the following steps:
NECESSARY STEPS
- Create a work contract (provided by Mr.d’E in Google Classroom under Human & Physical Geography). 1st class
- Choose a project from the list. 1st class
- A & B start here Organize what the project will look like - info and visuals - storyboard, layout, outline, etc. You are describing. You ARE NOT finding and writing. 1st & 2nd class
- Create a draft of the information that will be in the project. 2nd & 3rd class
- Use feedback to make appropriate revisions. 4th class
- Create the project. 4th - 7th class
- Reflect (provided by Mr.d’E) 7th class
