NOTE: Links to Google Classroom, Google Docs, or other Google Apps for Education will require students to log in to their school account.

NOTE: Due to the drop period in our schedule, there are times that your student might be working on a previous day's agenda. That will be noted at the top of the post.

DIRECTIONS

If you are ever waiting for a direction, please use PlaceSpotting by students, PlaceSpotting , Google A Day, or this Google Maps Scavenger Hunt or create a meme for one of our social studies topics from the year. (Don't search for the question or use a Google A Day answer site.)

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2. By yourself, finish researching evidence that helps to show (support) that your 5 SDG are the most important.  Put your information into your copy of the document linked here        20 minutes

3. Whole class share.        5 minutes

4. Insert a column to the right of the evidence column in your table (right click, insert column).

5. By yourself, create an explanation for at least one piece of evidence for each SDG. The explanation should clearly show how the evidence proves the Global Goal to be important and necessary.        25 minutes

Parents: Instead of Asking Your Child,
"What Did You Do in School Today?"
Ask them.......
  • What evidence did you find for your most important Global Goals?
  • Explain how your evidence show the Global Goal is necessary.
