1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2. For this doc, click the blue USE TEMPLATE button. Using the Drive icon next to the doc's title, move it to your social studies folder in Drive.          5 minutes

3. Review your work from the last Team Time.          25 minutes

Then, follow the prompts in the template to find an appropriate image and create an appropriate citation for each prompt.

3.    For each paragraph of the reading:      20 minutes

1. Read one paragraph aloud with your assigned partner
2. Discuss the important details
3. Discuss the main idea of the paragraph based on the important details
4. Write your own main idea for the paragraph (you are not making sure you use identical words to your partner)
5. Repeat for the next paragraph.

4.    Whole class share & compare          15 minutes
