3. For each paragraph of the reading: 20 minutes
- Read one paragraph aloud with your assigned partner
- Discuss the important details
- Discuss the main idea of the paragraph based on the important details
- Write your own main idea for the paragraph (you are not making sure you use identical words to your partner)
- Repeat for the next paragraph.
4. Whole class share & compare 15 minutes
