2. With your partner from yesterday, complete the read-aloud and main idea identification.          15 minutes

3.    For each paragraph of the reading:      20 minutes
  1. Read one paragraph aloud with your assigned partner
  2. Discuss the important details
  3. Discuss the main idea of the paragraph based on the important details
  4. Write your own main idea for the paragraph (you are not making sure you use identical words to your partner)
  5. Repeat for the next paragraph.
