  • show that you have a sense of what the economy is and how it relates to your life.
Why?
  • To develop your understanding of basic economic concepts.
  • To begin seeing connections between yourself and other parts of the world.
  • To describe how different economic systems try to answer the basic economic questions of what to produce, how to produce, and for whom to produce.

1 Turn to someone at your group.  Gesture and mirror with that person the definition of economy:  Economy is the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. (If no one at your group is ready, turn to someone in a group next to your group.)

2.  Repeat #1 until Mr.d'E asks you to stop.

3.  What evidence is there of each term in your life?  You will brainstorm one term at a time, and we'll discuss after each term.

4.  Go to  GooglClassroom and complete the Economy and You assignment.
