  • show that you have a sense of what the economy is and how it relates to your life.
Why?
  • To develop your understanding of basic economic concepts.
  • To begin seeing connections between yourself and other parts of the world.
  • To describe how different economic systems try to answer the basic economic questions of what to produce, how to produce, and for whom to produce.

1 Turn to someone at your group.  Gesture and mirror with that person the definition of economy:  Economy is the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. (If no one at your group is ready, turn to someone in a group next to your group.)

2.  Repeat #1 five times.

3. Go to  GooglClassroom to finish the Economy and You assignment.

4.  Complete the tasks on the back board.

5.  Share your Economy and You writing with a classmate.  Give feedback regarding the following by making comments in the Doc (select the area, CTRL ALT M):
  • Does the writing clearly address the prompt?
  • What is something you liked about it?
  • Are strong examples used?
  • Read it aloud.
    • Did it seem to need punctuation?
    • Are there parts that sound awkward?
  • Was capitalization missing?
  • Are there parts that are unclear?
6.  See Mr.d'E
